Carissa is a board-certified Physician Assistant who completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
She began her career working in the Intensive Care Unit at the VA Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Carissa then moved to Savannah and practiced in Urgent Care before transitioning to Ear, Nose and Throat. Carissa was born and raised in San Diego, California and lives in Savannah with her husband, Joseph.
She enjoys the warm Savannah weather, hiking, camping, golfing, and visiting friends and family.
