Kim became interested in hearing health in high school. She wanted to help the hearing-impaired individuals to be able to hear and understand well using amplification.
Receiving her bachelor’s degree in 1988 in Speech and Hearing Science at East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Kim went on to earn her master’s degree in Audiology in 1990 at the Ohio State University in Columbus.
ASHA certified, Kim has 32 years of experience in the hearing healthcare industry providing hearing care to newborns up to older adults. Her interest is providing and caring for the hearing-impaired adult population, with her most recent job at the Naval Health Clinic Charleston where she worked for nearly 41 years. She joined Hilton Head Hearing Services in April 2021.
Currently residing in Bluffton, Kim has been married for nearly 29 years to her husband Patrick. They have two adult children.
Kim fills her leisure time with her family and her three Pomeranians. She loves the beach and being in
Hilton Head Island affords her the ability to go on beach walks daily.
