Dr. McLeod’s clinical area of expertise is in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric ENT conditions.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Duke University and his M.D. from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1997. Dr. McLeod completed his internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. in 1998, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2005. After residency he was assigned to DeWitt Army Community Hospital, where he initiated ENT services as a solo military provider.
While at DeWitt ACH, he expanded the ENT Service to a total of four providers and assumed duties as Chief, Department of Surgery from September 2010 – May 2011. Dr. McLeod served as Acting Director of Surgical Services during the transition from DeWitt ACH to Fort Belvoir Community Hospital from May 2011 – December 2011.
Dr. McLeod moved to Savannah after retiring from the Army as one of the most senior physicians at Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart, Georgia. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. McLeod and his wife, Rebekah, have four children and are excited to enjoy low-country living after residing in the D.C. area for over twenty years.
